SWJA says best wishes to Sensei Susan Konray, who is returning to New Jersey to be close to her family.  Susan Sensei brought over a half century of teaching and competitive experience to our juniors, especially as a role model for our girls. She won numerous national gold medals and awards, including gold at the 1977 Maccabiah Games, which was the inaugural year for women. She previously trained under Yoshisada “Yone” Yonezuka (2x US Olympic Judo and 3x US World Judo Championship Team coach), at the Cranford Judo Karate Center.  We will miss her, but our dojo doors are always open for her to visit.
