Congratulations Chris Hartman (blue gi), from Southwest Judo Academy, who tied for third place in the M3-81kg division at the 2016 Russian Masters (Veterans) Open which was held this past weekend in Ekaterinburg, Russia.  Chris was one of three member USA Judo Veteran delegation with his USA team mates: Scott McCann took first place in the M3-81kg division, and Tiago Goncalves competed in the M1-73kg division.  Chris is staying in Russia this week to attend an all Russia judo training camp.  He is ranked #2 in the US for Masters M5 (50-54 yr) -81Kg division, having won the silver medal at the 2016 Senior Nationals and silver medals in the 2015 and 2014 US President’s Club Championships.
