The 6th annual Southwest Judo Open, hosted by Southwest Judo Academy, Mesa, AZ, is only six months away.  This is a USA Judo sanctioned tournament and will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016, not over the Labor Day weekend as in the past years.  We are returning to the Broadway Recreation Center and expect an even larger number of participants than the 150+ junior, senior and master judokas who competed last year.  So, mark your calendars, and remember this year it is not being held over the Labor Day weekend.  More information will become available as we get closer to the tournament date.
